During the right time of day you can get your shade on the opposite side of the street and have your pocket picked while getting molested by an Indian tailor.

No disagreement from me. My son is an Engineer and needs 3 PE to sign off on project. I expected many more for a plane. The Max is a disgrace to Boeing.
Not meaning to get political but a major issue with the Max was that government regulators allowed Boeing to be their own inspectors. The fox was allowed to guard the chicken coop. Corporations will almost always act in their own self interest.

I don't really need convincing of anything as I don't have a formed opinion either way. I am just always skeptical of youtube memes from unknown sources that might have an ulterior motive. I am short of time right now just home from golf, eating and due to get to the scotch and cigars night with the boys so I'll have to get back to this tomorrow soonest to see if Boeings screwed the pooch again. Thanks for the links.
Mainstream news sources are reporting issues with the nose section.

Stolen but humorous...
Why are there interstate highways in Hawaii?
Why does quicksand work so slowly?
Shouldn't the word ambiguous have more than one meaning?

Interesting and a trend perhaps. A study is going on that gives one dose of Pfizer's vaccine and one of Moderna's. I am uncertain of the order. An Israeli study showed a 25-30% reduction in effectiveness by the Pfizer vaccine to the Delta variant and of course, there is ongoing research into booster shots. This virus is not going away, perhaps ever, without something earth shattering treatment being developed in the anti virus sciences. It doesn't help the situation that so many refuse to get vaccinated.

This is a surprising, but welcome development.
Sinovac dumped as second-dose vaccine in favour of AstraZeneca
In a major policy change, the Public Health Ministry has decided to use the AstraZeneca vaccine for the second jab for those who received Sinovac as the first dose.
Public Health Minister Anutin Chanvirakul announced the change on Monday.
AstraZeneca would be administered as the second shot three or four weeks after the Sinovac inoculation. A combination of the two vaccines would provide a better defence against the Delta variant of the virus, he said.
Mr Anutin did not say what people who have had two doses of Sinovac should do when the change in policy comes into force, or how it would affect people awaiting their first or second dose of the Astra Zeneca vaccine.

A new season for Showtime's "Billions" begins September 5th.
Also, they are bringing Dexter back in a new series. That also begins in September.

Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte, frustrated by the slow pace of COVID-19 vaccinations in his country, threatened people who refuse to get inoculated with jail or an injection of Ivermectin, an anti-parasite drug widely used to treat animals.
Ivermectin has been touted as an alternative treatment for COVID-19 but U.S. and European regulators and the World Health Organization (WHO) have recommended against it.
"You choose, vaccine or I will have you jailed," Duterte said in a televised address late on Monday, following reports of low turnout at several vaccination sites in the capital Manila.
"But for as long as you are here and you are a human being, and can carry the virus, get vaccinated.
"Otherwise, I will order all the village captains to have a tally of the people who refuse to be vaccinated. Because if not, I will have Ivermectin meant for pigs injected into you."

Bosch, an excellent show!
I have been a big fan of Welliver's for years. I think at least Deadwood but he had many roles before that.
-
Season 7 of Bosch is due to air on June 25th.
This will be the final season although a spinoff is in the works.
Will there be a season 8 of Bosch? No, not as we know it. Bosch season 7 is the show's final season. Don't be too sad though, as there is said to be a IMDb spin off series in the works so it won't be the last time we see Titus Welliver as Bosch.

Finished binge watching three seasons of Yellowstone. Been putting off watching the series as I didn't think I would enjoy it. Man was I wrong. Great series, with some great views of the Western US. Kind of wishing now I had waited until season 4 was released as the cliffhanger at end of season 3 was one of the best I've seen in a long time.
I am likewise a fan.

We had a good inch plus of late spring rain but the sun has been out for a couple of days and today is just about perfect for this ex-Californian. It is low to mid 80s today and a might warm I imagine for long time residents of the Pacific Northwest. It is supposed to get up to 97 Sunday...a nice summer morning in Fresno, my previous residential stop.
So, it got me out and about and I feel like sharing the euphoria.
