IE 8 is a Beta Software. It is not intended for those that are not PC savvy lol - on top of that, its Microsoft... which means that even when its ready for release, it will have bugs... and this one is still in beta, meaning its not yet ready for release. :) I would revert back to 7 if I were you... or Firefox. Absolutely rent. I am renting now, and am 8 months in after moving here, and I have no regrets at all. No matter how much time you spend here on Holiday, your views of the areas change significantly after you move here.. and those views will be important when deciding where you want to live. Um... Obviously you are not American. Of COURSE McCain and bush were on the same side - their both republicans. Every American knows that. I am at odds as to how to comment here.... I had a very similar experience on Loy krathong, over a hour for our food and it was not hot... but I wouldn't classify it as "stone cold" either tho. (Well, except the mashed potatoes - they were stone cold, and almost hard as a rock... the worst mashed potatoes I have ever had.... Pete, if you read this, check out the mashed taters at Hard Rock cafe sometime - they are absolutely top rate.... If you could match them, I would be back quite a bit more often than I am now). Not too shabby. 2 of my 3 DNS Servers have been up now for 400+ days (The other gets a bit strange if I let it go more then a few months between reboots), but the rest of my servers I take thru a weekly reboot. Windows servers just dont do all that well with old age lol. One good thing about *nix servers - very few memory leaks :) Frosty

Some people dont like confrontation. I understand that perfectly, though I would have preferred a more direct approach from his point, I do understand him not wanting to go that route. As to the warning, I do think it is valid.... I have other information that confirms that this type of thing IS happening at Secrets at the moment, either without the knowledge of management or with their approval... tho I doubt the latter. I know Cebual ... and I dont believe he would make this up. Further, dont go assuming that he knows everything you know. You dont need to "justify" his post... he has already done that. I think its perfectly legitimate to warn people of behavior like this, and I cant for the life of me figure out why some people have a problem with being warned of a potential problem? ok... so to add to this story a little.... One of the secrets hostesses, whom shall remain nameless lol, has been a friend of mine since she worked at FLB some 3 years back. She told me about a month ago that there were several girls at secrets that would .... cheat customers. I use the word cheat because I dont know what other word to use lol. She told me that there are a few there that will agree to go LT and almost always end up back at the bar before the night is over, and one that waits until she gets to the room to tell her barfine that she is on the rag... which she usually isnt

I have to agree with this one... When I first started coming to Thailand, Buffalo bar was top notch... one of the better places to go. the last few months has seen that go down hill very fast... Now I dont bother much anymore. Its just not worth the trip. Frosty

The place has always been known as one of the more expensive in Pattaya. Its not my thing tho, so I havn't checked it out... BUT I have not heard any negitive reviews on it either, so... if your in to that type of thing, its probably a good night out. Frosty
