  1. Nope. I just did a round trip on ua code share and had no issues whatsoever. Just the usual security BS at Narita - they issue all boarding passes at check in and your bags go straight through no issue. At NRT the ANA flight is in the same terminal - usually in the gates 40 - 47 area whilst the UA flights are in the 22 - 39 area. No issues.

  2. Were you in Phuket when the tsunami struck,or witness the Berlin wall coming down,I was in New york 9/11 and remember the commotion was also on the

    underground 7/7 bombing,

Everyone who was in Japan during the big earthquake a couple of weeks ago witnessed history (myself included).

  3. Next holiday in bangkok, on july, I'd like to stay in Grace hotel.

Can anybody tell me about the price and how much they charge for guest ( I know that this hotel isn't girl friendly)?

    Many thanks in advance.

The clientele at that hotel is entirely middle-eastern. I haven't wandered over there since 9-11. I doubt there is much knowledge re: the entire Sukhumvit Soi 3 area on this board. Hmmmm...I could be wrong, I have no idea your ethnicity, etc. But if you are not of middle-eastern decent, I would suggest a different venue. Thanks - and good luck./Travlr

  4. for god's sake do not use your ff miles to fly to chiang mai. It will cost you 20k miles. you can book a ticket on asia air for 2500 baht. for the same milage you could fly to tpe, sin, or ngo.

if you want to keep your miles active sign up for the dining program or grocery program. one meal for $10 and your miles are good for another 18 months.

For GOD's Sake - Please follow this advice./Travlr

  5. Can anyone recomend a good restaurant in the Nana area? I'm not on a budget and am looking for something that has great food and a nice atmosphere.. Have read about Le Banyan on Soi 8 and Bed Supper Club on Soi 11. Anyone tried these or know about something good?

Sukhumvit Soi 14, 10 meters off sukhumvit on the left side of the road is a Thai restaurant that features traditional thai dancing every evening 8:00 p.m., great food.
