Besides the weekend market, there's a Friday night market at Chatuchak so you can beat the sweltering heat, gets started around 9 PM. Only Sections 8 to 26 (clothing, accessories, and food) are open in the evening, no gardening, art, pets, or book zones. I stopped by last night.
They had a bar with live music and I was able to get a few Jack Cokes with a few shots of Jägermeister.

I was on Walking Street last week, had a good time. Doorman wouldn't let me into Pinup at 7:55 so I went over to XS for a beer, when I came back at 8:30 I was lucky to get a table in the back. The bar had almost entirely filled up in the first half hour. Draft Beer was 95 baht, same at Palace. I was also was probably in Baccara and Sensations, don't remember.
LK Metro. Beers upstairs at Kink were 170, but only 99 baht at upstairs Angels. Kink was raunchier but Angels was playing Avis and trying harder.
Soi Bukhao, when are they going to do something about the wires?
Breakfast at Cafe Pattini
An afternoon Cider at the Honey Bee Bar
Treetown
An afternoon cider at the Blue Sky Bar
...and finally, Patricks in the Kiss Arcade

Thanks very much, RT. Very useful.
Unfortunately, I think that nothing you have said persuades me that a visit to PP is warranted on my next visit to LOS.
That’s perfectly understandable since the mamasan will no longer close the curtain at The Strip so you can get a BBBJ from one of their fine dancers. I suppose i could have done doggy style standing up but it always seemed more natural to drop my pants and let her do her thing.

What say we crawl out of the septic tank and into another cesspool. Patpong.
I recently made a visit to discover The Strip, Bar Bar, XXX Lounge, and Black Pagoda were all closed. Not much happening now, just as it was making a rebound. Never went into Bar Bar but I'll really miss the great BBBJs at The Strip.
Kings Castle, Kings Castle I, Kings Castle II, Bada Bing, and Pink Panther are still open. Kings Castle I has a very good lineup, nearly as good as pre-covid. Papasan will sometimes pull on the girl's g-string bottoms so the audience can see if there is a shaved beaver in the house. The girls don't seem to mind. Like being sold in the market down in N'Orleans, brown sugar how come you dance so good?
Went into Took Lae Dee for dinner, chicken yakasorba and ice lemon tea. 140 baht.
Meanwhile, Nana Plaza and Soi Cowboy are packed with tourists every night.
Shrimp Tacos at Hooters Nana
Pork BBQ with Paulaner Oktoberfest at the German Beer House on Soi 13
Half price chicken nachos on Sunday at Oasis on Soi Cowboy
Half-price bar snacks on Fridays at Oasis
Cheers

Can we get some links for good online sellers?
Sendt fra min ANE-LX1 med Tapatalk
This place offers good deals on 10 gram packs. If you register and put something in your cart they’ll send you a coupon for 10% off after 2 days. I get really good herb for 225-270 per gram, similar quality to what the dispensaries charge 700.
I bought some cheaper stuff from these guys. They had strains with names like ‘green crack’ and ‘squirrel tail’ for 59 to 79 baht per gram. The buzz isn’t as good and doesn’t taste or smell nearly as good so I end up not using it. Wouldn’t you rather smoke ‘Silky Delight’? Or ‘Critical Haze’? Or would you rather smoke ‘Squirrel Tail’? 😝
i haven’t bought from these guys yet but I’m on their mailing list

Unless Thais develop a liking for cannabis I wonder if the market from foreigners is strong enough, especially in low season, to sustain the explosion in weed outlets. Same in Pattaya where many places seem empty of customers.
Thanks for your many pictorial reports mate. You live a great life and nice of you to share it with us.
The dispensaries are too expensive for anyone but the tourist market. Thais order online where prices are much lower. I also order online, quality herb for less than half price because I order larger quantities. Free shipping and in my mailbox the next day.

I took a walk around Soi Cowboy and counted 11 cannabis dispensaries within a block. In addition, there were another six table stands set up selling, making 17 places you could obtain some weed within a few minutes.
It's much the same at Nana Plaza
Here's a trivia question: Who can name this GoGo Bar?
With all this high-grade cannabis, where to go to satisfy the munchies? Of course, if money is no object you can visit El Gaucho, New York Steakhouse, or Rib Room for a big, juicy steak. But these places are expensive and El Gaucho isn't on eatago any longer. Hooters has a good special, 50% off (including drinks) between 3 and 4 PM on weekdays. Much of their food is crap but some is good, like the shrimp tacos for example.
Biggest problem is will still be a while until Nana gets going so I end up going home and maybe coming back later.
What really hits the spot for my pre-game meal, before crawling the GoGo bars, is the Geräucherte Rindswurst (Smoked Beef Sausage), with a Paulaner Oktoberfest at the Old German Beerhouse on Soi 13. (220 + 225 = 445 baht). For an extra hundred baht you can add creamy potato salad, although I'd prefer the German-style potato salad like Mom used to make.
The Old German Beer House on Soi 11 also has Geräucherte Rindswurst, but not Oktoberfest (my favorite), although they have other fine brews.
Similar offerings from The Game and Buddy's don't measure up. 👎
My vote goes to the Geräucherte Rindswurst. What are some of your favorite places for a pre-game meal before hitting the bars in Bangkok?
I took a walk up Soi 7/1 (AKA Soi Eden) recently and came across Annies Soapy Massage at the new location (previously Soi 2).
Located at the end of the Soi on the left, where Dr BJ's Nuru Massage was previously.
I wasn't in the mood for a soapy so I visited Blue Room across the street
A new Friday Night Market has opened on campus at Srinakharinwirot University, a seven minute walk north from Soi Cowboy on Asoke-Montri Blvd. Lots of food and crafts, live bands, every Friday night from 4 PM to 9 PM.
I stopped for a burger
I come here frequently since I have to pass by on the way to Soi Cowboy or Soi 23 massage shops anyway. It's loaded with hot young college girls, some of whom I hope to see at Thermae later. I'll be giving out scholarships to Morehead State. It's time to head over there right now in fact! Cheers

I wanted to stay someplace new so I choose Sleep With Me, near Treetown.
Bar Girl: "Where You Stay?"
Me: "Sleep With Me"
Bar Girl: "I only go short time."
It's directly west of the Hilton, between Soi Buakhao and Third Road, about 100 meters from Soi Buakhao.
Place is clean, guest friendly, no hassles. Walk-in rate is 1200, I paid less by booking ahead. I chose the hotel for the location and positive reviews. Room included a microwave oven that I didn't happen to use but could come in handy sometime.
Small outdoor pool I didn't have a chance to try out. Too small for my liking.
Nothing too interesting on the Soi, just some hair salons.
The hotel was convenient for Tree Town
It came alive with good vibe at night
Many places with live music 🎼
Bratwurst at Mama Burger
I took a moon shot with my cell
Some very welcome early morning rain ☔ to clear away micro particles in the air
Soi Buakhao, hazardous for pedestrians
Down Soi Honey way
Every Pattaya trip means dinner at Patricks in the Kiss Arcade
The Nebraska Tenderloin I usually order was out of stock, so I ordered the tenderloin triple, 100 grams of each, with a glass of red.
Still had room for desert and Irish Coffee
I visited most of the GoGo Bars on LK Metro, which was a 12 minute walk to my hotel. Kink (upstairs), Lady Love, Champaign, Sugar Sugar, among others. The hottest girl once again was Ing, #194 at Lady Love.😍
New Bar with some impressive signage, otherwise not so IMHO
I'm normally a Walking Street guy but I only made one visit this trip, and only to Palace, Pin-Up, and Baccara. The street was mostly filled with gawkers.
It was meant to be a short trip but I hadn't yet made it over to Soi 6, so I extended one more day
Checked into the Queen Vic Hotel as a walk-in for one night
Room had a nice view but very noisy at night. I felt grateful they didn't extend opening hours until 4 AM. You can't get any sleep until bars close, but they had an android tv and I was able to chrome cast Major League Baseball from my phone.
Cod and Chips at the Queen Vic
Outside, the usual colorful characters
I perched out at the Ruby Club
There was a cutie across the street at Soho that caught my eye but she was smashed by 7 PM and they put her to bed.
Flirt was closed, I guess they got raided 👮♂️
Needed some late night munchies, so I went to Bela Italia across from the Runway food court
Seafood pizza, 330 baht 🍕
Smoked salmon for breakfast at the Queen Vic, then home to Bangkok. Go Brewers! ⚾ A short visit this time. I'd recommend Sleep With Me if you're planning to hang out at Tree Town, and Queen Vic is good for a Soi 6 vacation, but choose a room in the back. Cheers.
