Just found etihad man/bkk £467 various dates starting 27th august up until 8th december at this price checkout www. lastmimute .co.uk and tick the box for search 3 days either side of dates only 23 kgs baggage allowance though if coral class
Cant argue with that pricing from Manchester !! 23kgs is still slightly more than most.
Take into account 7-8 kgs of hand luggage plus a few kilos leeway on the checked baggage and you're looking at 35 kg in total ?? More than enough ??

superior room in flipper lodge quoted at 1400 or 1600 dependent on view, i can get a better room for 850 baht in lk metro, only thing missing is the pool, but we all pay the money and make the choice chivas
.as for motors and taxis never use 'em shanks pony is cheaper, lk metro walk 50 metres get a baht bus on soi bukhaow south to walking street area or 2nd road outside kiss foods and a 2 min walk on return journey or heading north.
i can then spend more money on beer
and girls , but i'm still a cheap charlie at heart cos i'm from yorkshire

For christs sake just book the Flipper lodge with the best rooftop pool in Pattaya-why the fuck anyone would book rooms in LK metro and suchlike is beyond me.
You guys spend more in motos and taxis from that area then it would cost you to spend in a proper hotel right on the baht bus route ??

Paid 410 once 14 years ago on Eva but that was when the taxes etc was only 20 quid.

Guys I am looking for some up to date information regarding charges for bringing golf clubs to BKK from London in economy class (return). I know that BA charge £32 each way but from their websites I cannot see for sure what EVA or Thai Air charge. Both indicate that 1 case at 20kg is the allowance so I expect that the golf clubs would be considered excess - but how much exactly will it cost. I found an old report on the internet that indicated EVA on occasion charged a huge amount for carrying golf clubs.
If anyone has flown recently with either EVA or Thai from LHR and brought golf clubs I would appreciate any info you can share.
Contact your booking agent or Eva direct and get a hard copy of a response so there is no dispute on check in.

England can do it . However still a major concern of mine is Rooney . Is form is abysmal . I don't know if it is down to his mind set or if that injurie(The one he had at the end of EPL season) is still a factor .
I wanted him to score last night to boost his confidance . He was not happy at coming off .Personally I would of left him on if he isn't carrying a injury in the hope that he got that all importent first goal .
Milner was the best player on the field last night . Didn't see much of Gerrard or Lampard .
Johnson was crap & to me is a real weak link .

Rooney is not a primadonna, he is the the greatest English footballer of all time however that does not mean that he is is in the top 50 footballers of all time. he is not even in the top 10 in the overrated EPL, he certainly is not in the same league as Didier Drogba/Carlos Teves/Shay Given etc
