  2. As many of you know, FLB and Pattayatalk/Pattayapages have received long-standing support from our partnership with the Residence Garden. As of the end of this month (Sept 2015), Residence Garden will no longer be offering the special rate to new customers. If you are an existing customer who has received that special rate, I have been told it will be given to you if you ask for it, but any new customers will not be able to avail themselves of that rate. I want to thank Ib and Alan Ottesen of the RG for their support these many years. I know many customers have stayed at RG over t

  5. Hi all Was thinking of booking this hotel in November but I've heard there's construction going on, just wonder if anyone else there at the mo or stayed recently and know how bad the noise is, I like to stay out late and don't get up till 12 so don't want waking up early Cheers in advance
  6. City Inn, Udon Thani For Sale www.cityinnud.com 13,900,000 Baht 080-002-9900 I'm posting just as information, so if you're interested, get in touch with Tiffany at City Inn. She's Canadian/Thai and speaks fluent English or is that Canadian? 9 rooms with air con, cable, internet and all that stuff. It's only a year old and very nice. The best thing is the location, only a short walk to Central Mall, nightlife, night market, UD Town, Train and Bus. All rooms rent for 600 baht. Would make a nice family run business. You do the numbers and figure out if it works for you. It
  7. Pattaya, a beach resort popular city with tourists and expatriates. It is located on the east coast of the Gulf of Thailand, about 130 km southeast of Bangkok, a lot of accommodations, tour package, day trip, excursions and many more. Need any recommendation about Pattaya, where you need to go or anything you want to know about Pattaya please contact us http://www.pattayatourstravels.com/ pattayatourtravel@gmail.com
  8. Several boardies spent the recent election weekend in Bangkok. Several of us stayed at Aloft on Sukhumvit Soi 11. Aloft is a spin-off of Starwood's W Hotel line. Think of it as a budget version of The W. The vibe is fun and young...and cheap. I paid a rate of 2,000 baht per night (not including taxes) for an Urban room, but there are lower rates available. The location is convenient for Nana, Cowboy, Beer Garden, and more. The hotel is across the street from Bed Supper Club, where I use to go with a civilian ex. Bed and the rooftop bar at the Fenix are great places to watch civilian eye ca
