TOURIST HAS THROAT SLIT

 

A British man has been found dead with his throat slit in a Thai tourist resort.

 

Bernard Norman LeCourt, 52, was found in bushes in Pattaya.

 

 

His camera, video camera and wallet were stolen.

 

Police have arrested a taxi driver who picked him up in Pattaya.

 

It is alleged the driver had large gambling debts.

 

The suspect faces the death penalty if found guilty of murder.

 

LeCourt travelled to Thailand alone on February 24 and was scheduled to leave on Wednesday.
