Been talking with a friend & he tells me a guy he knows has just bought a one bed condo on the sukumvit rd pattaya.

Nothing new there :chogdee .But this guy tells me his mate paid £8,000 for this new condo, unfurnished. Apparently it also needs a paint job & a new floor. So he must have bought it at its bare minimum.

But for that money it sounds like a great buy.How much can it cost for a paint job & few tiles?? Max 50,000 Baht?? if that.

Wonder if they take visa??.Might buy one next trip...

I will try & find out who the real-estate firm selling these apartments are.

In Pattaya you get what you pay for anything under 2 mil and you will be living same premises as bar girls. A decent condo in a good location will cost you around 4 mill upwards. All these cheap under 1 mill condos are similar to a council house or less back home.

These condos have just been built.Have bath room no fittings, its down to the buyer to buy all the fittings, thats why there that price.

Not all the time cheap means shit..

Don't pay more than about Bt800k for Yensabai. But, you don't have to pay Bt4m+ as Clubman thinks. I live in View Talay and I reckon Bt1.5m would sort it out.

I see loads of stuff for Bt4m+ and a lot is not worth it. Sure, you might make money, but you could lose as well. i can only shit on one bog so having 3 bathrooms seems a little silly to me.

Has it really been that long since your last dose of the Siam Street Stall Squirts?

Five bogs, three buckets, two baths and I'd still probably find a way to spraypaint the wall!

See you tomorrow at 4 amigo.

I think it would be sort of fun to buy a shell condo and finish it. I have a good friend that used to be a home builder. Maybe I could enlist his help for an airplane ticket and a case of beer, or something like that.
