Shirt size LG, skirt size unknown, but I will only wear official Pattaya Sportman Club skirt as they helped me finally establish a handicap for first time in my life.

I'll be around until the 14th - I'm sure we can arrange a few foursomes in between the RC and when the guys leave for Chanm Mai.

Thanks for the confirmation and welcome to your friend. We are especially pleased to welcome 14 handicappers to play for Europe!

I will be organising some more golf days in Pattaya between 6th and 12th November. A bunch of us are off to Chiang Mai on 13th but there are a few of the guys remaining in Pattaya who will be pleased to join you for a round or two I'm sure.

Doghaus,

Sorry for the delay in posting my affirmation on the RideHer Cup 2005, I just hopped over there to play in the Misty's 4 Man Scramble about a week ago and had I known where to find you, I'd have looked you up.

YES, I'll be there for the RideHer Cup 2005 (and the Catz plus the Chiang Mai jont)

My shirt size is confusing... I'm a Large in the US but in the Philippines I can't get into anything smaller than an XL. So maybe you can work it out?

My email you already have when I registered.

I carry a 17 handicap with USGA, IPGC and PSC.

Definitely playing for the good ol' U S of A.

The last I read on the Chiang Mai trip it was undecided as to how we would get up there. Either fly or by bus. I liked the idea of stopping off and playing a course on the way but I also understand the 'need for speed' and suffering from a long ride. The one thing I didn't notice was any mention of possibly taking a First Class Rail trip which would; allow all our baggage/clubs, could be arrainged for a stop for golf on the way, and would accommodate all the drinking anyone could possibly want/need. Is it too late to be considered?

Looking forward to meeting the 'gang',

Pakawala

I also like this option, even though the chances of me making the trip are 50/50.

Leave Pattas, play a round on the way to BKK, evening train to Chang Mai in our own PARTY carriage. ST rooms, LT rooms, a hibernation room for daddy. Our own mobile go-go. W

And wake up next morning totally "refreshed" ... :clueless :D

Any ideas for decent club rental? We are traveling light.

Doesn't look like the C.M. golf trip will work for us. Maybe next year we can plan better.

I still have two others I am trying to talk into playing. For some reason they think getting laid is more fun than golf...hmm

Thanks,

I can arrange rental clubs for the period you are in town. This is much cheaper than renting per round. Just let me know whether you are left or right handed and your preference for steel or graphite shafts. They might not be brand name but I find it makes bugger all difference. I can sometimes get Honwa which are excellent clubs.

Also let me know if you need airport pick up organising. We can send either a 4 wheel drive (up to 3 golfers) or a mini bus (up to 6 golfers - 8 at a push). I can send you prices if you PM me.

Bad news for us Euros

Super Matt is back. :banana

After a year away from the tourney he’s back. Two times captain of the US and rideher hall of famer, he has been persuaded to make the journey to represent his country again.

265MAT_superman124_copy.jpg

OK, Euros lets go into action! :chogdee2

Stevo - Your mission is to have a certain ladyboy in his room on the eve of the comp.

Pieman – a game of Spoof with him would go down well (preferably through the game).

Doggy – I think Miss Whiplash could fuck his putting stroke.

Ben – A free bar fine with the liveliest filly in the pack would do nicely

AM – Wear the bra (you know the one)

Hilly – Train the sexiest caddy at Phoenix GC to do extras for him.

It may be tough team, but we can counter act this surprise addition to the US team.

Oh by the way he will be playing for team USA.

Shirt size - extra tight with a cape.

Sorry to be the bringer of this news, but we can prevale.

Thanks

Wow Duece you are a magician with that picture software. I never look that good when I am wearing my light blue tights around the house.

Ok to get serious for a moment, what kind of dress are we talking about to get to a 36 handicap. I have played less than one full round in over a year so I need to consider all my options here. Fellow US players, we need to all have an open mind.

Please add me to the confirmed list for the good old USA and can I leave the handicap to be determined at this point. Shirt size XXL to allow for shrinkage. Also I hope to be in town on the night of the 2nd so add me to the other Kats/Katz/Cats/Catz (not sure of the spelling and don’t want to offend my heavily drinking South African friend who shall go unnamed in case he would like to maintain some anonymity) event as well please.

Lastly to add my 2 baht to the original Duece masterpiece, I did note a MAJOR flaw in the picture. Ben, Hilly and Doggy seem to have their shorts/kilts up around their waist areas which I am thinking may be wildly optimistic, as well as historically inaccurate (please note who I am not picking on my South African friend and remember this when thinking about forcing me to drink†just a few more shot’sâ€).

Great to hear that you are making a comeback and even better news to hear that you have barely played. However, you will be well aware that handicaps are adjusted by means of cards returned and as you haven't put any in then that's that little issue sorted - no need for a dress. :D

Perhaps there is someone else I should try to find and see if she also wants to come out of retirement ? Remember "Auntie" ? :beer She quit the "nightlife" scene almost a year ago and is now working as a maid - we were thinking of trying to entice her to work service at "Catz" (for that is how it'll be spelt).

Your ommission re the picture is duly noted and an allowance will, of course, be made shotwise - 'tis only fair. Having said that, my memory's shot..... :chogdee2

Cheers

Matt,

Great news that you will be back again this year but I notice that things have not changed over time - bribery and corruption still part of the American tactics. :P

However, I would have thought that you would know better than to attempt these sorts of tactics on Pieman and, after all, things have not changed with the American team retiring around 9:00 pm on the eve of the event in preparation leaving the Euros to prop up the bar until the early hours of the morning. B)

Duece,

Consider my mission accomplished. :banghead

Great news that matt is back if. I were a person of the euro ilk. I would be worried as he is devious and cunning leader for the american team.

I for one am glad you are able to return.

Hello Mr Doghaus

I am new to this forum and I am interested in playing golf in Pattaya. I have been to Pattaya 3 times before and have enjoyed playing the golf courses. But it is always a problem finding golf partners because I come to Pattaya on my own. It is very boring playing on your own - it is much better to have people to talk to.

I will be in Pattaya from 31st October to 15th November so I would like to play in the RideHer Cup. Can I please enter this competition? I have an official club handicap of 28 so I hope that I wont need to wear a dress!

I am not sure about my shirt size. I am not very tall but I have a big fat gut so what size do you think I will need?

I would like to play on other days as well. Are there some of the members of this forum who would like to play some golf with me on other days? It would be nice to have some company on the golf course for a change.

I look forward to meeting a lot of golfers when I am in Pattaya and I hope I can make some new friends.

I am called The English Patient because I sometimes have problems with my memory. Nothing serious. There are some golf holes where I lose count of the number of strokes I take but that is where caddies are very useful. I sometimes forget other things as well like names of people so please forgive me if I don't remember all the time.

Well what do you know - another fine upstanding Englishman joining up. Sounds like a country gentleman - I wonder what part of England he is from. I have heard rumours in the past that these pommie gentry appreciate the finer things in life and also like their porn. B)

Welcome Mr English Patient

We will be pleased to register your entry English. I assume from your name that you want to play for the USA. They are a bit short of high handicappers! Seriously, I am sure the European captain will be delighted to have your services.

For the Polo Shirt, I recommend an XL. That is usually about right for short fat blokes like you. Make sure you remember what size you ordered when you come along on the Sunday night!

You will meet a lot of golfers who will be in town for the RideHer Cup so I am certain you will not be short of invitations to join in with them. If you want to make new friends fast, just go to the end of the bar at FLB and give a couple of short sharp tugs on the rope hanging there. You will make a lot of new friends instantly!

Ignore the comments from that Steve O - he is in a bad mood because the Poms are whacking the Aussies at cricket.

You are a very friendly bunch of golfers! I have already had a messge from Thumper inviting me to play golf with him. I look forward to meeting him and his friends. Thanks for that Thumper.

Dodgy - I think you are very insulting to Steve O and me. First of all you call me a "short fat bloke" and then you tell Steve O off. I might be under 6 foot with a bit of a gut but there's no need for the insults. You are probably a short arsed tight fisted Scottish git..... so there! And I know all about the rope in the bar - some bastard already pulled that stunt on me last time. I rang the bell 3 times and it cost me about 12,000 baht. I still didn't make any new friends :P I hope I don't have to be on your golfing group during my holiday or I might be forced to shove a five iron up your ugly Scottish arse. :clap2

Steve O - I am happy to have you as my new friend and thanks for your welcome. I am from a Village called London and how did you know I like a bit of porn  :bj1 :bj2  <huh :beer. I have bought some good DVD's the last time I was in Pattaya - there isn't a lot of censorship is there? I am looking forward to golfing with an Australian - I will be free most days so let's play together every day. I usually remember if I write things down :D

See you in Pattaya - new friends

Hi Patient!

I´ll be happy to join you for some rounds of golf. I too have a bad memory specially in names.(I wish people were coded by numbers). So far I do remember my score. (At least at the best of my knowledge).

Anyway if you being from London don´t speak cockney I expect us to have a good conversation and good time too.

As somebody pointed out at that time there will be many golfers.

So many opportunities to play.

Looking forward to meet you,

Softrabbit

P.S I also hate playing by myself.

:D :clap2

Patient,

Be patient with me :D . I forgot to advice you to join to PSC (Pattaya Sports club)

in order to get a membership card which entitles you to have good discounts on almost

every golf course in Pattaya.

You can find their webpage with Google. It contains a lot of information also from other discounts their card will give to you.

Cheers

Yo Patient, take your medicine before you start taking cheap pot shots at Dodgie.

Steveo and Doggie are old mates, relax.

Many of the guys here live in Pattaya and should be able to show you around.
