China Air Dynasty Seat HELP

Recommended Posts

AMSTERDAM TO BANGKOK

Guys,

I am about to book Dynasty Class for 4 persons and was wondering which seat numbers gave us the longest seat pitch ??

Someone posted this many months ago that if I booked early enough you can call China Air In London where they will reserve seats there was a bit more space in some seats???

Any help would be appreciatted

Cheers again

Anything upstairs in the bubble is good but as said 10 the best. Book well ahead.

If booking from UK your agent is the only one who can make a seat request, KLM who are the handling agents will just tell you to fuck off.

LHR to AMS is economy, economy check-in, economy services, economy attitude. Once you land in AMS you are entitled to use the KLM business lounges. I had no problem but I have heard of others that did. Take no shit from them. KLM lounge is nice and Schiphol is a damn fine airport including casino!

Dynasty lounge at BKK is basically a little room only relieved by the bottle of JW Black (no ice) I found there. Plan to send as little time there as possible. Once back in AMS its back to KLM cattle class.

China Dynasty class the service is superb. Highly recommend them.

At £900 which is what I paid its a steal.

When the full mileage hasn't been credited (normally from AMS) I have faxed copies of the ticket and boarding pass to China Airlines in London on 020-72919233.

Always got sorted but can take 3 to 6 weeks. :D

Don't know if you have already tried this?

Chok dee kap.

As I travel from Glasgow via Amsterdam, I make sure the KLM card is swiped at GLA.

If the system is "open" for seat alloaction whilst at GLA and I get my China boarding pass there, I always make sure that my Dynasty Flyer card is recorded in the holding lounge at AMS.

Never had any problems with mileage being credited either way.

Sitting here now in my BKK condo, and heading for CI65 and seat 10B tonight, DAMN !

Niall, i'll second that i think China Dynasty class about the best value around at the moment if the price of around £900 is within some ones budget. Its slightly more than Eva's premium economy but in my view far better and i also think its better than Thai business class which is a lot lot more. Obviously some people prefer a non stop flight, but China is definately my favourite if i don't take a non stop flight.

Tiss.

I agree, compared to others the CAL Dynasty/Biz Class represents fab VFM.

Heading for Bangkok i much prefer to sit downstairs in 21 A or B in order that i am one of the first to leave the aircraft once that big door opens. That way i am front of the Q at passport control then straight out to meet my driver because i only ever arrive BGK with hand luggage.

The Luggage i take home pays for a large portion of my flight :D
