Hi ryaninuk

the price is good ..

flight alone would be at least £420 per person.. then add you 20 nights in the dusit, which is not a cheap place and your upto around the £1200/£1500 mark per head.

if your not all inclusive there it wil be and expensive place to eat and drink also(in comparison to our of the resort)

if you want to see the normal price try booking what you have on the kuoni site as they list the dusit resort ..

as far as things to do ..

mmmm ..

most nightlife in the areas most of us hang around in :beer is not really tailored towards to impresionable young farang girls.

the dusit i think is geared up as a resort that provides most of there things to do in house .. there trips will cost you a fortune tho, so booking those if you intend to do any would be better done in the pattaya or BKK streets ..

you may find Walking street worth a walk down one evening but probably only as a one off.. there are lots of nice restruants along here and also on the beach road

most areas are geared up to entertain single male travelers if you get my hint ..

much of what you can do will depend on how your cousins and aunty view react to the many females plying there warez ..

keep away form bars with blacked out or curtained windows if with the kids.

on 2nd thought you should actualy find lots to do on walking street for the family as there are many bars that are not P4P ..

i'm sure you'll all enjoy it anyway

best thing to do really is on arrival speak to them at the dusit and ask for advice on where to go and what to do then go find it cheaper elsewhere.

ask other people waht the trip are like as well before you book as i found many of them sooo boring and geared towards only getting extra money out of you .

one thing you could do and it may work out cheaper for your trips is get a taxi guide .. to drive you round for a afternoon it would cost no more than 2000bht for 5 hours (around £30) but make sure you are firm with what you DO NOT want to see or they will take you to endless places seling jewelrey and other crap as they get commison ..

hope i've been of some help, only ever done the family thing in phuket 15 years ago.. been a lone travelers since to pattaya so not realy looked for the things you intend to do .. you must have a look round one of the big temple things tho ..

All kidding aside, if money is tight and they need a place to go, I will help you out and share my place with them, free of charge. Afterall, we're all in this thing together and there's nothing wrong with helping eachother out. :clueless

well so far no serious responses, you tossers

Don't get hot under the collar, if you become a member of this site and enter the member's area you will see and understand. Your post could easily be misinterpreted as a 'troll'.

You have got a good deal,

The Dusit in Pattaya is an excellent hotel which only offers this type of deal during low season.

As to the females, I hope the sun is out as all they will want to do is lie in it, then you can perhaps get out and about alone and see the reality and mind blowing experience that is Pattaya.

The seafood restaurants on walking street are a good experience for a first timer.

You will enjoy yourself, the ladies, if open minded, should too.

When staying in BKK ,

get a map ,( look up "cool and groovy maps company")

thay have a good map and list all the main thing to see and do.

day time and at night '

they also do a map of Pattaya

The best way to get around BKK . is on the sky train and sub way .

I dont know about the airfare ,but if you are staying at the dusit you have done very well,

as for pattaya, there is heaps to do,pattaya park, elephant village, fishing parks, bowling, shopping, mini siam, mini golf.etc, etc when you get to the dusit grab some local guice to pattaya books, they have everything in them you need to know.

the dusit also has tennis courts.

and when you go down to walking st go to one of the many seafood resturants there, and after that sit at one of the bars with chairs out the front and watch the world go by,,,stoneys is good for that, with cold draught beer.

have a good one .

Ryan

Good price, bad destination.

You're heading to the sex tourist capital of the world. Good for you, not so good for the 3 girls in your party.

My advice, stay as a group during the day, split up at night.

"take my two 16 year old female cousins and aunty who is around 30"

aunty aged around 30, kids around 16! kind of suggests that she had kids when she was around 14 years old! twins at that!

In Bangkok, you can take your Auntie to the BedSupper Club You can take your Auntie and nieces to the Khaosan Road or any of the large malls around town. For example; The Siam Discovery Centre at Siam Square. There's a cinema on the top floor. Take them them to the luxury version(Golden EGV) for a treat. Films are in English.

Whilst there, pop across the road to the MBK Centre and pick up a Thai SIM card for your mobile telephone for around £3. Prefixing your calls to the UK with 00944 and you will only pay 10p per minute using a Thai SIM card. 7p for Int. SMS and as little as 1.5p for domestic SMS.

Choose Happy SIM.

Some good restaurants around your location. Pomodoro is a good Italian. There are two. Turn left from your hotel to the main road and then right for the more upmarket or left for the other. Both are ok.

Come back if you need more info.
