Great photos again mate.

If you are near the dolphin island a few from there and a few long range if possible.Soi 13,7,8. A nice long range of 2nd road, say Tim Bar/kiss and then Wonderful Bar on the other side.

Those kinds of pics you'll find in dozens and dozens of trip reports of other board members.

My goal has been mainly to show my perspective of the other aspects to Pattaya rather than bars/gogos, P4P, etc.

Although some of those elements do fit into my life as an expat, it's not usual.

I make it a point to be have my stomach full and my TG back in my condo by 11pm. every night. I feel Pattaya is too dangerous.

Although I live in central Pattaya, I'm very aware of the news headlines here and I don't feel safe at all after dark other than on WS, sois 7/8, etc. but I hardly ever go to those places.

Robert, your comments are extremely kind and mean a lot to me.

www.thailandfriends.com is a great place to meet regular Thai girls with regular jobs and lives.

I've met well over 50 and have had only good experiences. The girls would often show up in cars or at the bus station to hang out with me in Pats. My only warning is that they want to chat on msn messenger for a decade first.

There's no point in me fixing you up with any girls that I know because you'll find much much better looking once you get here.

Pop into FLB and check out the beauties there.

Thanks for the comments. Very nice of you.

soi.

Although I have been coming

to pattaya off and on

since 1989 I have never there but

I intend to stay in the soi on my

up coming trip in 26 days.

It would be nice to get a feel of the

area before i arrive.

Cheers.

Hey Blue,

Just curious about your pic from your younger, Vanilla Ice, hairstyle days. Not coming down on you for your unfortunate choice of haircuts, I used to have a mean mullet myself. But judging from the late eighties/early nineties style highschool photo, you are probably around my age. Which prompts the question. What the hell are doing being an expat, when I'm still stuck here plugging away trying to make the dream a reality? I'd curse you out, but I need you to keep sending pics.

Anyways, all the best to ya. You're making this life of mindless work a little easier with real time (almost) pics of where I'd rather be.

Thanks for the feedback. It means a lot to me.

I've covered the LK Metro area in a previous "What I Saw..." post. Maybe you could post the link when you find it?

Pitini's is on the west side of Buakow. When exiting LK Metro, turn left and you'll eventually hit it. Don't forget your laptop as it's a hot spot with a good speed. Try the home made ice cream and tell Paul I sent you.
