Recommended Posts

How many are there and what are there locations.

The Aussie Bar, Soi 7.

Seems as though your good buddy mulphy frequents this place a lot now, along with his personal ass licker Punter69. :D

Do you mean Aussie themed? If so haven't come across any.

If you mean Aussie owned. Billabong LK Metro. TQ2 not sure where it is, I'll find it this trip. Champane GOGO LK Metro, I think Jason was born in UK but grew up in Aus he has an Aussie accent. There would be many more. I could be wrong on these to. :D

Would I be able to see a bogan in one?

Not likely to see one in Thailand, that would require thinking outside the suburb they live in.

So only the Two then, Aussie bar on Soi7 is not what i would call an "aussie" bar as it appears to be run by a pom and seems to be a favoured watering hole for his fellow londoners so i wont include it.

Wat bout walking street Roo bar or some such name, whats it like ?

the Boomerang bar is on soi arunothai, (Soi 1),opposite Carrefour on pattaya klang, at the lights. Its an aussie themed bar. and its about 10 minutes walk down the street from Pattaya Klang. Its attached to the Shagwell Hotel and run by a couple of aussies. lots of memorabilia around the place and very well done up like an outback pub. Its a bit out of the way but if you are looking for aussie themed places its about the best around. Later in the week they have a filipino band at nightfor entertainment and show a lot of oz sports.
