There are hundreds of hotels available at that price, that seemed to me,to an advert only.

There aren't hundreds of 4/5 star properties available in BKK for under 1,800 Baht a night.

You want a 5 star hotel?

There are lots doing special, that was an advert.

Any further info on those 5 star hotels doing deals at under 1.8k a night would be appreciated by lots of BMs I would think.

Does anyone know if the Pan Pacific is guest friendly?

It is not guest friendly. It's a very nice hotel and value for money at 1,766 baht/night, but there's a 1,000 baht joiner fee. It's high to discourage male guests from bringing back girls. It's a good deal if you register with a companion who will stay with you the whole time (no joiner fee), but not if you plan to switch partners every night.

Tom The e-mail I sent specified that the room was for my wife and I. So one additional person should work out just fine. ( I am too damn old for an additional one)
