Sad Day for Cricket

Recommended Posts

Classic News of the World sting but it looks like they have been exposed.

It's a real shame as it was not a bad series England's fightback from Trott and Broad in the fourth test was superb but I've also enjoyed watching the 18 year old Asif

for Pakistan for a young lad he really bowled well and would of had a great future in the game.

Sadly now he could well face a life ban, and the cricket public have been robbed of watching one of the stars of the future.

That sad Pakistan may well be banned by the ICC at the moment this matter is in the hand of Scotland Yard.

Full Story for those that give a shit.....

In the most sensational sporting scandal ever, bowlers Mohammad Amir and Mohammad Asif delivered THREE blatant no-balls to order.

Their London-based fixer Mazhar Majeed, who let us in on the betting scam for £150,000, crowed "this is no coincidence" before the bent duo made duff deliveries at PRECISELY the moments promised to our reporter.

Armed with our damning dossier of video evidence, Scotland Yard launched their own probe into the scandal.

Last night three players - captain Salman Butt, and bowlers Amir and Asif hade their mobile phones seized by

Every time I think about Pakistan I relate it to cheating, lying and dishonesty. I used to live in an English town with a huge Paki and Bangladeshi community and used to work in a massive used car sales showroom. Whenever a guy who looked like he might be of south asian descent came in the salesmen always used to make themselves scarce. They knew that they could never make a sale because there was never any honesty coming from the customer. Just a waste of time.

Having said that, it was a little refreshing to see on BBC news Pakistani men jeering at their own country's cricketers on their coach.

As much as I hate to say it - the Pakistani's should be kicked out of world cricket until they can demonstrate and "clean" record of not match fixing.

How they can prove that is beyond me, however to play any game against a Pakistan side now is bringing the great game into further dis-repute.

Just ban Pakistan for good.

They have been cheating for years, maybe only a few, but the whole Pakistan cricket system has had a cancer through it for as long as I can remember.

Pakistan cannot play tests in their own country because of security risks, just f**k them off and be done with it.

Funky are you backing the Poms against Australia? I cannot believe as an Aussie we have such a wank of a captain in Ponting, should have been strung up for losing the Ashes the first time, let alone twice... :thumbup :thumbup

For once England go in to the Ashes with the best chance in years and years.

Bob Willis thinks Ricky Ponting could not Captain a rowing boat I'm still amazed you did not play a spinner at the Oval at the last test, he should of gone then.

As a batsman I love watching Ponting he really is world class as a Captain no thanks.

The mind games have started early this year with Ponting claiming 5-0 to Asutralia, it will be much closer than that.

Right through our order we can bat, bowling our attack is the best it's been for years and in Graham Swann we have one of the worlds best spin bowlers.

So yes my friend I'm backing England to retain the Ashes this time round and avoid defeat down under :thumbup

Only down side is I'll be in Pattaya and I'm not sure if it's going to be on....can anyone else help/know?

It is most def on tv in Pattaya, it gets covered by ABC Asia and at least one other sports channel I'm sure. I have watched many boxing day tests whilst in Pattaya from various bars around the L K Metro area.

Good to hear you will be in town, I will be there Dec 27th - Jan 28th, hope to catch up for a session or two.
