I was once looking up some old NYC bars on the internet and I found an internet NYC bar graveyard. All the old bars were there.

Can you imagine all the Pattaya bars that have come and gone?

Dave's GB bar, the original one on beach road. Wee Andy's, bottom of soi 2 beach road end. The Wild Elephant, top of soi post office second road end. Also Spinneys supermarket, bottom of soi post office beach road end.

Mind you, wasn't yesterday that they were all there, nothing stays the same for ever !!!!! :clueless :chogdee

(Reason for edit), Also the big Marine bar in its hey-day, when it was the only place for freelancers.

Anyone remember Stoney's on WS, nice bar to sit and people watch, and Stoney was a great guy. Sorry to hear he passed away a few years ago.

I miss the Spidergirl Bar on Soi 6 as it used to be my last drink (or two) on my way back to the Queen Vic. late on. Yes, I know, it's still there but now it's full of LBs with just the odd lady not vice versa. :chogdee

Thanks to the OP, good topic, will be interesting to see what other bars have gone which may have memories for some of us. :clueless

The Kitten Club in Pattayaland is now called Obsessions. It used to be a brilliant gogo bar. It's now just another Ladyboy joint with very few punters. Before the poofters took over the area Pattayaland was a better place to spend an evening than Walking Street. There must have been about 10 gogo bars that were heaving every night. You could spend the whole of your night out in Pattayaland and never need to venture further afield.

My very first bar in Pattaya and where I was treated really well as a newbie was Gilligan Island. They advertised on the internet that if you walked up to the barman and asked for Elvis the first beer was on them. I did and it was!

Maybe we should start a second thread for the Zombie Bars....

The ones that are still open but a shadow of their former selves. My guess is that the list might be just as long or longer.

But on topic, I miss Catz. And many might disagree but I also miss Hammers old Cherry Bar 2, worthless when looking for a barfine but the best place in Pattaya to watch football :o

Stoneys was a great place to watch the passing parade on those comfortable chairs and the YU bar in soi baukhow always had stunners in it and the management were very nice people.

dont think many here would remember the yu bar as it was back when the old thatch roof bars were operating.

The gogos on Pattayaland circa 2002.

Had a great girl out of Rodeo Girls which also played some great rock music.

Emergency also played good music and nice girls.

Kitten Club. The worst designed gogo in the world. But met some nice girls.

Planet Rock.

etc.

Also little Spicy Girls gogo on the other Pattayaland. Another with cuties and good music with vids.

Playpen gogo which was on either Soi Yamato or Post Office. A service girl from there was one of the best looking girls ever met in Pattaya.

Back then enjoyed taking my dates to Hollywood Disco. I think it was partly destroyed by fire a few years ago.

Don't think it exists now.

It was actually an FLB girl from 2001 who first took me to Hollywood.

Also miss the bar complex on Beach Rd next to Soi9, across from the police station.

Had some good times there.

Thanks for the memories. :sosad
