Cold morning here in South Australia, had a quick look but too cloudy to make out anything other than a redish blur. Tv reports saying that is due to the volcanic Ash in our atmosphere, having been blown over from Chile.

It was cloudy here in the East Midlands in the U.K too; couldn't see a bloody thing. I thought the next one(total)was due ages away, but according to the attached pdf, it's due in December this year.

I would normally suggest MM as the man to ask as he usually takes pics of events such as this but he was busy witnessing another type of lunar eclipse apparently.

 

 

Yes, it was a choice to view one moon or the other, since they were happening at the same time. cheers.gif
