Cheap family hotel near Sukhumvit

Recommended Posts

Hi

Does anyone know of a reasonably cheap family hotel in the Sukhumvit area of Bangkok ?

I will be arriving back with my Thai wife soon for a holiday in LOS

Her brother and his wife are driving down from Buriram to Bangkok with my wife's son, to join us for 3 days in Bangkok, then driving us all back to Buriram

We need a reasonably cheap family type hotel  Nana etc would not be really suitable   ;D   :o

But I would prefer to be near Sukhumvit in case I can slip away for some sanuk :P

Anyway guys any help would be much appreciated

Thanks

What price range do you consider "cheap"?

If this fits into your price range, you might want  to consider Woraburi Inn on Sukhumvit Soi 4 :

When I stayed there several months ago, there were several European families with small kids staying there.

Thanks guys

I was meaning around 1000 baht range

Have considered both from the hotel reviews but are they family type hotels?

Remember my wifes  brother and wife are Thai from Buriram and my wifes son is only 13 yrs old

Thanks anyway

Any other suggestions would be most welcome as previously I was always on my own and always stayed at the Nana or Dynasty

Thanks for the link Yujin

I checked the Woraburi website looks good but there were mixed reviews about this hotel

Also the prices on the website are much higher than in the hotel reviews but might give it a try

Thanks Vox

The Royal Benja I think is a bit more expensive but good location for NEP and Soi 7  :o

Tilacno.

Nothing wrong with the Woraburi.

I've stayed there about 4 times recently and booked in again for 2 nights next week on my way to Pattaya.

900 baht for a superior room, includes buffet breakfast(for 2 if I have a "friend").

A small pool on the 5th floor, I think.

The staff are friendly. Have seen families there many times.

It's about 10 minute walk to Sukhumvit and quiet.

Have fun.

If your looking for a family hotel away from the night life but within 10 minute walk to the Sky-Train. Check out the Twin Towers. Full service with fitness center, pool. Cost $35USD.  www.thetwintowershotel.com
