A View from the South - PSU Sports Complex and the Steel Temple

One of the things I like about Thailand is how they, the locals, prefer to exercise outdoors, rather than in air-conditioned comfort of the local gymnasiums.

 

One of the options available to me is the Sports Complex at the local university, in particular the swimming pool and jogging/walking/cycling route around the university lake.

 

The entrance to the complex ... put together for University Games ...

50m competition and training pool ... 15 Baht for 2 hours ...

Adjacent to the complex is a small man-made lake (1.5km in circumference) which is ideal for doing interval training using the lampposts around the lake as markers ...

Easy to miss is the structure behind the ridge that overlooks the university (circled above) and when zoomed in appears to be some sort of temple ...
