Hi Guys

I'm due in Pattaya in little over 5 weeks time but somewhat worried about North Korea stoking up

another war game nobody wants except them.

The situation seems to change everyday when something else is said and it's only going to take

a spark and all hell will let loose.

Anyone else due in pattaya in May and worried about the situation.

I'm due in July and I fly cathay which is toronto - HK so i think the route is in that area. The way I look at it I have a better chance of getting killed on a MBT then the flight if north Korea wants to shoot down a commercial airliner then the next day I think NK will be a waste land.

I wouldn't worry about it at all, then again the red shirts didn't bother me either mai pen rai

Certainly not beyond imagining KJU being the psychopath he is, but I think that if Cathay, or ICAO, or even China for that matter, thought there was any real risk of N. Korea doing that, they'd reroute or cancel the affected flights.

Whatever North Korea is going to do, they're supposed to do it tomorrow. Supposedly, they're going to fire a missile. And if they do? If it's something more than a test, the response will happen instantly. Five weeks from now, it'll all be over.

I live here and am not worried in the slightest.

I see you are from the UK so you should not be either.

Perhaps someone flying from USA via South Korea or Japan might have more reason.

Seoul is another 5 hours flight away.

If any country happens to drop a nuclear device on another country it will be mayhem to the rest of the world, no matter where you are living, politically and financially or both. Enjoy your holiday. Don't worry be happy.

If NK detonate he nuclear device on any other country then they will cease to exist, end of story , what ramifications this would have to world peace can only be speculated at.
