App for learning Thai language

Recommended Posts

We've probably been spammed with this post, but the app is relevant to this forum's membership (good spam?).

The reviews on the app are mixed. You need to be able to read Thai script to find the app useful.

Sent from the mostly bugfree Tapatalk app for Android.

Hi. Right. I used this App during about 10 days.

It's a very addictive app, but a stressful one too. You have to reply (and know Thai writing), yes, but you have to reply fast too !

From a programmer point of view it's a very good app. :)

From a Thai learner point of view it has a major default IMO : the proposed list of words :(

I would think all first lessons would use very frequent words, the vocabulary you use the more to talk, but not at all. I remember that "bomb" was in the first lesson (of 20 or 30 words). How often do you use this word in everyday conversation ?? Many rather strange translations; Many foreign firstnames too ??

After 10 days I had to try to remember tens of "totally useless words" (IMO) and I stopped...

Many people made the same kind of remark on Google Play.

The App is good but the vocabulary list must be changed.
