I have done that also, thanks.

I was hoping to get some first hand advice from some broad members. I'm leading towards Sutus Court.

If it has a pool can you really call it a guest house?

What's in a name, boutique hotel etc etc.

A guest house is supposed to be a private house.

You might mention what is cheap to you.

What's cheap? A place like Sabah Lodge has a good pool or two, but that might not fit your definition of cheap.

Under 800 baht per day! I edited my post to reflect this, thanks!

Try 'Opey De Place' - a nice little hotel with a pool, on Soi Lengkee. Your budget should cover it....

Try Nature View Hotel. I believe they give discounts for the longer you stay with them.

Thank you for your advice.

Gabor is offering up to 20% discounts on his places at the moment if you are a member of the correct F/B group.

Aren't his places in Jomtien? and no matter what anyone says , for me Jomtien is not Pattaya and I would never consider it for a holiday ,though I might consider it if I was living there full time.
