:) stayed there a while ago with the missis so not sure about the joiner thing, the rooms were fine and there are safety boxes in the foyer, the food was ok but a little more expensive, and most of the guests are either chinese japanese or koreans :) cheers bj

Maybe they have changed their policy recently, but I recall others saying that the Sunbeam wanted to charge them a joiner fee when they brought back a TG.

If you check out the Hotel reviews section there are 4 reviews on the Sundream. They may help you decide if it's the hotel for you or not.

It is in the Pattaya 1,000-2,000 section. :eyecrazy

Food for thought

You may want to check into the Sunshine Hotel on Soi 8. Its only 100 yards from the Sunbeam and in the middle of the action.

I have stayed there twice and it was a good experience. And will go back.

Staff was friendly. No joiner fees. Dont eat there. Better places a short walk. Ask to stay in the new wing. Rooms are new and clean. The deluxe rooms have a separate shower and bath. Maybe less expensive too. Safety boxes at the front desk.

Most guests are from Europe, Aussie, or USA.

Whatever floats your boat.

Hi. pbear,

Used to frequent a bar just outside SB. Talked to a lot of people who stayed there. The main comment was this was a tourist hotel for J and K visitors. The hotel was nice but joiner fees had to be paid and the staff were not all that friendly ifyou were a single bloke. IMO if you are coming to Pat. to P4P this is not the best. Gee. was right to suggest the Sunshine Hotel, if you want to stay in this area, but choose the new wing.

Cheers Doug.

10 weeks and counting
