i've seen comments about various plastic surgeries, any of you had this surgery - this is the latest weight loss surgery in which bands are placed around the stomache in order to make it smaller and you eat less and you ...lose weight !!

thanks

Isn't it a lot easier and cheaper to just push yourself away from the table?

Much easier,

after every meal just have your BG feed you some of her Bugs. You puke up everthing and presto after a few weeks lost all the weight. B) :P

I think if you went on the thai "som tam" diet, you would lose weight easily. That green papaya salad for breakfast, lunch and dinner is a smoking hot diet and is the rage of all those slim and trim thai girls!

Keith, that's a bull shit program designed only to lighten your wallet. It will create blood circulation problems big time just for starters. Diet and exercise....its the only healthy way. Roy

The Atkins Diet works for me! You can still push away from the table and have a full belly.

Only thing is, I have to give up all the junk food that I really like. Bread, french fries, pasta, potatoes, potato chips, gravy, ice creme, etc.

But, once I start I don't find it difficult as it is just changing your eating habits.

When I sit around on my ass and gain about 15-pounds to 180 or more, I start the diet and Voila! I am back down to my good weight of about 165-pounds. And, most of the beer belly is gone. No longer Pom Pui!

A lot of my friends went on it first and I saw the results. They, as I , still go on it when the weight creeps ups.

There has been a lot of controversy on this diet, but more and more the medical establishment keeps coming around to say that it is OK.

I would suggest that you talk to your physician first befoe starting on it.

Why should you talk to a doctor first? For the first time in history there are more obese people than underfed people. Most doctors that I know are over weight. Doctors don't have a clue and they refuse to take responsibility for what they tell people. You are on your on when you have medical problems. The sad part about this is that doctors suck down 15% of the gross domestic product.
