Thanks Pen. the flights i was looking at were all one stop flights. i believe all the ones that had 63 of taxes and fees connected through japan while the ones that had more connected through taiwan. i thought it might be the airport, but was wondering why such a big difference and if there was anything that i might need to pay upon arrival or departure at any of cities i land in. taipai or tokyo (depending on which flight i choose) and bangkok and maybe even phuket. brama
  2. some deals on site like travelocity, cheaptickets, expedia... all have tickets for around 1100. but some of the tickets have like 179 US for taxes while others have only 63. the ones that are 63 have less of a layover so i was just wondering if there were any hidden taxes that i would have to pay upon arrival since there is such a big difference. thanks for all your advice so far.
  3. i'm thinking about taking a trip to thailand in early august for about two or three weeks. the best deals i've been able to find so far is about 1100 roundtrip. just wondering if thats average or if i should be looking for a better deal.
