I might want to live in Thailand in the next few years and was just wondering how much the airlines charge to fly a dog to Thailand from the UK ? Has anyone on here flown any pets to Thailand or can someone give me an idea as to how much it might cost and which airline is best ? Cheers

Ive registered for the Qatar Privilege Club so when my wife and myself have done this return trip we should have about 31192 miles. After our 2nd flight we will be silver members and earn 19494 miles each per trip. So if ive got this right after 3 trips we will have 101372 airmiles. A free ticket is 65000 low season and 90000 high season.

Has anyone found a December flight for less than £439 with a 5 star airline yet ?

If you look on Ebookers or another internet travel agent now flights are not cheap even before the 8th December. I can guarantee you cant find a flight cheaper for these dates with another 5 star airline. Ive been every December for the last 4 years and ive never had a ticket this cheap before.

Ive just booked 2 tickets for my wife (thai) and myself for December. I wanted flights from Manchester to Bangkok sometime in early December with return flights approx 28 days later in early January. I had a look on Ebookers and everything was around £800. I was then seriously thinking of cancelling our plans to go to Thailand for Christmas and thinking of going in January or Febuary. I called a friend who has just booked to go in November and asked him who he had booked with. at the Grace hotel are the safes in the reception or in your room ?

Thanks Roland and MM The hotel i normally stay in is the Nana inn on soi 3 which is directely opposite the Grace. I do not mean the other Nana hotel which is near Nana Plaza, I have never stayed in that Nana hotel so I dont know what it is like however the Nana Inn I have stayed in is really shit, ive had lots of rooms with no window. I cant see that the Grace can be worst. I choose to stay on Soi3 because I like to play pool in The Bamboo beer bar which is on Soi 3 and almost opposite the Grace Hotel.

The rooms at Nana Inn are really shit and many of them do not have a window. I am hoping the grace hotel is a lot better. Has anyone on this board stayed there ?

Theres still availability left around xmas and returns in January. Ive just booked last night to go 19th December and return 14 January. Great flight times and only 2 hours to change at Dubai going out and only 1 hour changing coming back. I looked everywhere and they doesnt seem to be any seats left with KLM or China Airlines. Hi I get to Pattaya on Sunday 15 th November, my freind has just got there today, he has found a Hotel on Soi Bua Khoa but they only have a room for him for 1 week. They dont have another rooms for me. We are both stopping till 20 th January, normally we would stay at Lek Hotel 2nd road but its full. Can anyone recommend a hotel for me around 500 to 600 baht per night ( Lek was 500 ). I fly tommorrow Saturday 14 th Nov Cheers

I had many meals at Queen Vic in August / September, the food is superb. At the time I was there they were just making the new part next door. i had a look at the old rooms and they were ok, I might stay there this month, I think a figure of 450 baht a night was mentioned, think this would be for an old room ? Im going to email them and ask how much for 5 weeks. Andy
