Poskat, thanks .... although, when I asked my dentist if it would be ok to get the braces and then move (sometimes I have to move for my job) he indicated that anyone should be able to take over the monthly "maintenance". I don't know though -- perhaps it's just not that much of a good deal compared to what we have here in the states anyway if there's not a demand for it. Also, in speaking of the "medical/dental" tourist -- what about hair restoration stuff ...like Bosley type things?

Hey Poskat and others, I've read a lot in a few books/articles/postings about the fact that there are some health services in Thailand that is quite good (ie, cosmetic surgery, etc.) I have to admit that this surprised me a bit because we Americans have been brainwashed to believe that our medial services are the best in the world (yes, I know..LOL) ...of course, that's just so they can charge a lot of money ...ahh, the good ole USA ...money money money ....BUT, I digress... Anyway, I was just curious if orthodontics fell into this category as well. If so, any thoughts or links?
