Any updates on how Uber (or Grab) are faring in Pattaya? Quite like the idea of using this type of service for trips to Kinnaree etc.

Thanks Python. I can get Sabai Lodge for as low as 1000THB per night using one online service, which is exactly the same price as Areca's entry-level room. I will give Sabai some serious thought. Soi 2 location is the only downfall for me. Last time I stayed in Soi Diana, I could easily walk to Walking St. Can't do that from Soi 2. Do Baht buses run 24hrs??
