inspired by his good reputation on here i booked mr toom for an early hours pickup in bangkok two weeks ago...he was a no show...i waited for an hour and then haggled with a taxi tout...who took me across the road to the multi storey carpark...now i have been to thailand many times but this was the first time at the new airport and this carpark thing was the norm at the old place...my driver leaves me to get the car but a minute later i am joined by two of his rather big pals who ask me if i want marijuana...luckily for me a policeman on a motorbike comes by and they scatter...he tells me they

i stay here all the time and i will be again next week...its the best option for the price and the location suits me and i welcome the relative seclusion but it is only ten minutes away from the action...one new thing they have added is a room deposit...i was quoted various different prices but got them down to 1000 baht which is supposedly returned to you on checkout...as i am no keith moon i expect to get it back...overall a nice little hotel and the reviews are genuine

you missed out one of lancashires finest delicacies...the sneaton cake...a small square almond cake with a pastry and strawberry jam base and framed in chocolate...delicious

a little far out but worth a trip for a nice pie or pastie is leks garden centre and restaurant just outside the cholchan resort...good staff...cheap and a very clean dining room

for some reason... heavens above go go often has some wide eyed young tourists in there...last year i asked one kid his age and he told me he was 14...roy of the rovers was more my thing at that age but they grow up fast nowadays
