Yes there have been some some very basic replies to peoples requests for reviews of this hotel.
Now if someone who is about to stay there , would take the time to post some up to date pic's of the rooms & bathrooms, plus their review it might just give all posters an "answer" to their questions!!

We can't travel until late July or early : August so the fares didn't suit us
Hope to hell something else comes up that will be around those dates , hopefully Thai airlines

Stayed at Jasmine Mansion Soi Buakaow.
The large balcony room we stayed in had a bath. Baht bus at the door step.

Have you stayed at a little gem you would like to impart with , or any suggestionson good clean accomodation you would like to pass on??
My requirements >>
Preferably somewhere central, eg , Beach Rd going back as far as Soi Buakoaw or any of the Soi's branching off any of these area's
a/c, t/v, fridge, hotwater shower,
no more than 1 flight of stairs to climb, lift would be a real bonus
There must be a lot of people looking for this type of accomodation because of the ever decreasing exchange rate, so come on guy's help us all out.

Rooms are supposed to be very good and restruant has excellent recommendations, rooms around 850 bht, don't know if monthly rates available!
Have you checked next door "POOKS", good cheap rooms,(so I've been told) I'm certain your better half would find it eye-opening!

jasmine mansion, I am going to add this place to my short list. What has your luck been with negotiating a longer stay rate? I am looking at 3 weeks in June. Also it says that they have a mini bar. Will they allow you to empty it out on arrival and stock it with your own stuff? Do they have 24hr reception/security? Thanks guys
Have stayed there twice, on both occasions I emptied out the fridge (except for perishables) . This they appeared to accept. I do put all back in the fridge before departure. I do this wherever I stay!!
You are the one paying for the use of the room !! so..... in my opinion, the fridge is for your use not theirs.
They did have weekly and monthly rates.
Excellent 24hr security.
Nice place to stay (no elevator) guest friendly.

The guest houses are filling up because the UK folks are having to abandon the hotels because of the pounding their currency is taking.Yeah, and It's not only the UK, most countries are getting a poor exchange rate
Most of us are looking to save a bit on accomodation costs,
: but I can't see these people rushing to book a " GUEST HOUSE" charging 1200 baht a night -
I popped into the Armagedon Guest House over the holidays. I did not get to visit the rooms as they were fully occupied. However, the bar area has been done up on the expensive side and I presume that the rooms are the same. Perhaps this is why the price has been upped to 1k baht.

Can't understand why a person would be willing to pay that much,
LK metro is full of bars with decent rooms ..AND!! for far less than this bar is asking.I dont care how nice the room is , cetainly not a mansion, when it's all boiled down it is still just ........a room above a bar!!
For the same price one can get a decent room in a hotel with all the trimmings
EG =elevator pool, room sevice etc, etc, and no noise from the bar downstairs

Come on guys and "girls" who really cares ??
Most of us have seen far better days and by now are a lot worse for wear !! But do we really care how ugly we are now ??
IMHO, it's the money that does the talking around here not our good looks!
As long as we are still able to enjoy lifes "little pleasures" in Pattaya no need to rush out visit the beauty parlour for a makeover
