It may cost a little more to fly from Canada but you avoid all the B.S. and hassle with US Immigration, Customs and the Infamous TSA if you route thru the U.S. I've just completed a booking with destina.ca (The Cheapest fare I could find) Toronto - Bangkok return for $1557. CAD(Approx $1150 U.S.) departing on Oct 28. Routing is Toronto - Narita non stop on AC Narita - Bangkok with ANA. Bangkok - Hong Kong with Thai, Hong Kong nonstop to Torontop on AC. Good connections both ways. Flight Dearts T.). at 1:00pm arriving next night in Bangkpk at 1030 PM. Departs bangkok at *00AM arr

Traveling by train in Thailand?
Flyboy replied to Putts's topic in Hotel and Accommodation Questions
Travel by train in Thailand is quite good. They are not fast but they are generally on time (T.I.T.) are clean, safe and inexpensive. Transport from Airport BKK into Sentral BKK
Flyboy replied to golfer's topic in Meeting - Cost sharing
I take the Airport bus to Sukhumvitt Road. Outside the terminal, just up from the taxi stand you will find the Airport Bus Kiosk. The cost is 100 baht and the bus runs every 15 minutes. Take AB3. The bus takes the expressway to Sukhumvitt Road. Travel time from the Airport to Suk road is about 45 minutes depending on traffic. The first stop is at Soi 3 just across from Soi 4 (Soi Nana). The bus runs the length of Suk road stopping at any of the regular bus stops all the way to Ekamai. If you are not sure where to get off, the driver will help. It's safe, inexpensive and almost as -
