  1. If you use the pool all day and the gym (free weights) and want guaranteed parking for your car or bike and can eat like me at the breakfast buffet, then the Areca isn't a bad choice. However, most people only use the room so could save 700 baht a night by booking a quality guesthouse.
  2. Yes it can be unlocked and yes 3 are shite.I'll stay with 3 till the end of my contract, no longer.
  3. He he,i'm thinking of the Eastiny inn and Honey inn,Pattaya. Not very romantic.
  4. Hi Bigchaser,i've stayed here twice and will again next year. They have no bar or pool but its located in a great spot. I hired a brand new yamaha fino from the hotel for 150 baht a day, includes two helmets.
  5. HI Tez. You have probably booked your room by now but my choice of the 3 would be the renaissance. I prefer the renaissance over the metropole just for the reason that it's nearer to second road and the staff are very friendly. The sabai lodge is ok but you must get a pricey room to get the same comfort. Why not book into one for a few nights and then try all 3.
  6. I took my nokia n95 to Dr.Phone in the big C, upstairs and at the back of the phone repair area.It was soaking wet with seawater. It cost 1000 baht and came back like new.He says he can fix any phone at a good price.Look for the guy wearing a surgical mask thats him.
