  1. OK! Try this option. It may save you some money,,,,,,,,,then again, it may not. This is the way I have booked all my flights to Thailand from Minnesota. Go to NWA.com. Select their World Vacations site then enter your travel departure and destination (BKK) and dates. Then look to see if there is a little box that you can check that states you need a hotel for only part of your trip. This is important as it's the way I have saved a lot of money for tickets. In the box for nights at the hotel, enter the first and 2nd night only. You should then get a menu of hotel options such as the
  2. I was up early about 3 weeks ago and went for a walk down Beach Road then Walking Street. I went past a couple of bars on W/S that were serving some very drunk customers at 07:00. There were even a couple of ladies (two-baggers) that were hanging around waiting for someone to buy them a drink. ( Actually, the gals on Beach Road that were out and about at 07:00 were better looking than the bar gals I saw.) :>) "If ya want it, you can find it."
  3. My friend and I stayed there in February. Very nice place. At the time they had a 300 baht visitor fee. They have since dropped this policy. I just reserved 4 rooms with them for a visit in December and I did give them a Visa Card number to confirm the booking. I have no reason to believe they would do anything illegal. From what I saw before, they are a top notch establishment. dj
