Hi Guys, it's been a while since my last post but I need some help on a hotel recomendation or two. Myself and a couple of mates will be in Thailand for our usuall Xmas/New Year fuckfest and we intend to visit Phuket for the first time. We want to try our hand at scuba etc. We are looking for a hotel in or very near to Patong beach as that seems to be where all the action is. (if i am wrong please correct me) We have a budget of around 700 to 900 baht a night and guest freindly etc. for the dates of Jan 05 till Jan 14, can anyone help. Daz

Not too long back from a two week trip and I stayed in a new hotel called Jand P Lodge. Its on a soi that continues over the cross roads from soi Diana. Very freindly staff and good price at 550 a night, all mod cons etc. Daz

Ok guys I need help on a few recomends for good hotels for the Xmas and New Year holidays. I have stayed in Pattaya a few times now and I know it can be difficult to find somewhere decent at that time of year. The usuall requirements, no joiner fee, multiple girls allowed, near the nightlife and all for around 600-800bht a night if possible. I know of the Diana and it's ok but is there better value to be had. Thanks Lads Daz

I do my trips cheaply as follows; accom. 700, food 200, beer 1000, BF 200-400,girl 1000 LT. Total 3000 a day=£50. Daz
