Just got back from taking the family to Areca Lodge. This is the 3rd time I have stayed here and as always I find it nice, family friendly and reasonably located more so now they have proper crossing points on the 2nd road. I was however a little annoyed this time with the check out procedure. We had a 4.30am departure for a 8am BKK Flight. So as I was settling the bill which was almost 20,000bht the cashier said there was a towel missing from the room and she could not settle the bill till it was located. UPDATE I got it myself. Cost was 6500bt. Pattaya Dental Beach on Soi Bukhao I got the full laser whitening. Arrived at 4.30 and left at 6.40. They cleaned the teath, applied a film to the upper tooth to protect the gums. Then applied a gel/crystal product to the teeth. They then used UV Light to seal the gel to the teeth. Then for about 1hr she applied a laser to each tooth. Some shooting sensitive pains during the procedure, but nothing to worry about. Results were very good. EVERGREEN WING Taking the family back the Areca Lodge on the 16th, thought we would try the Evergreen wing. However it appears the Superior Room does not have a balcony. Is this the case, does it have a small area or doors that open out Or is it just a sealed room with a window, if so its gonna be a Deluxe room in the old building Cheers for any help

Sorry my fault I am looking at Peak Season 17th Dec - 31st Dec Leaving before new year to miss gala dinner. Out of all the Hotels Grand Sole is the only one I can recall from previous visits due to its location near Tops and the Montien. GranSole looks the front runner, will wait for other opinions. Unfortunately Areca is booked up which I am gutted about because we had a good time there and my young daughter enjoyed it. The only other hotel I have stayed in is the Montien but this is too dear. I have found availabilty for three which are all near Central Pattaya so not too far to walk to the Malls etc. Grand Sole Chaba Hut Sawasdee Siam All prices around 22,000 Baht for the period I need Any opinions on these, they seem ok in terms of pool and we would opt for a De-luxe in the Sole and Siam and Pink Studio in Chaba. Hello Looking at going back to Areca Lodge with my family again, however I am hearing that there is building close by as part of an extension to the main building and am a little worried it wont be complete. I have emailed them for availabilty and also asked for an update on the building works. Also if the works from part of an extension to the hotel do we know if there is an additional swimming pool being built as putting more rooms in and keeping the same pool will make it a little busy and thats what attracted us to the Areca the first time. Any Ideas Last point I am look
