Hi ! has anyone any suggestions for internet connection. I am moving out of Pattaya, to a house I have got about 20 mins away. I currently stay in Pattaya and use the hotels WIFI etc. I was thinking of getting a dongle - are they any good out here ? I have a 3G one that I use in the UK, which is ok but I dont think they have that here. Then somebody said that if I was getting UBC/True Vision, that they do a internet package - maybe you need a phone line for that though, which I don't have. So wondered how every body else manages out in the sticks, so to speak ? I would apprecia

Hello there - am a new member, so forgive me if something similar has been posted in the past. I want to learn to speak Thai - can anybody recommend a good CD or internet site ? A CD would be good as I could just sit with my earphones in a try and learn ! Anyway, open to suggestion or ideas from those that have learnt to speak Thai. Thanks Deano

Hi, thanks for the replies - I guess I would like to pay in the region of 8-10,000 a month. Hopefully normal electric and water charges ! lol Two bedrooms is fine, yes would like aircon, TV and furnished -Internet is important to me but am happy to pay for that. Would like a western style kitchen really as the other half like to cook ! I hope I'm not asking for to much, but will take it for a minimum of 6 months, maybe up to 18 months. I will be in a position in about 12 months to buy somewhere then. Cheers Dean

Hello there - I am looking for a Town House or similar to rent long term. I appreciate the best deals are probably on the east side, so am happy to go there. Can anybody recomend a property and indeed an area ?
