I understand what the original poster is saying regarding reviews posted about hotel on the internet. In the UK if you do a hotel search through Google I think Trip Advisor takes up the 1st two pages ! so people do look at the reviews. Last year in the Uk Trip Advisor got slated in the press as some reviews were clearly posted by jealous competitors. I think Trip Advisor have had to makes some changes to try and stop this practice. Owners of the reviewed hotel can and often do respond the reviews given. But do not take the people who read these reviews for fools, people can see when comments
