Whats the best way to get to Pattaya from BKK Airp
BigAl replied to travelingfox's topic in General Discussion about Pattaya
Thanks for the information. Can you tell me if the Dynasty mini-van goes to Pattaya via the expressway and if the toll is included in the 350 baht? BTW, what is current amount for the toll? -

Winston, Perhaps I'll offer them sloppy seconds from the prior evening instead. Provided she is still around. Your comments notwithstanding, their rooms are still smelly cockroach infested sh**holes. Down deep....... don't you think they know that too? LOL. -

Sa-teef, Thanks for the information. I also have a love for the Nana area as well. However, I do not share the enthusiasm of some here for the hotel's accommodations. A real sh##hole if you ask me. But I am interested in the hotel's mini-van to Pattaya. Do you know if you have to be a guest at the Nana to use their mini-van service? Does it cost more if you are not a guest? Finally, does the mini-van go directly to Pattaya and how do you catch it back to Bangkok? -

ThaiAir Limo Service used to run mini-vans directly to Pattaya from Don Muang airport during the day (not at night). However, I do not know if this service is still offered. I have heard from a friend that they may have discontinued it. They have a service desk in the arrival terminal. When I last used it in 2003 it was 200 baht and you had to share the van with others. Does anybody here have any recent information on this? Is this service still being offered? -
I am thinking about staying at the Chai Chet Resort Bungalows at Klong Prao Beach on Koh Chang Island in the second half of April (after Songkran). Does anybody have any information on this resort? Is this a nice place or is it a dump? The brochure I have makes is look great but those things lie big-time. If anybody has a different recommendation for accomdations I would like to here about that as well. I am budgeting at 1600 baht per night or less.

turk56, I am looking for a surgeon to repair a hernia. The doctor I talked to at home says these things are done routinely anymore and that I should be up and about in two days (after the procedure).

I will be coming to Pattaya in March and I need to have surgical procedure done on me (not serious). Can anybody recommend a hospital or a doctor in Pattaya that provides good medical care (ie Western standards)? What hospital would you avoid?
