Having to cough up first and claim it back later is often the norm with insurance policies in Asia. I have insurance via work with one of the big providers and have certainly had to go this route for treatment in Thailand. Even though supposedly the Bkk-Patt is one of the affiliated hospitals that participate in the corporate insurance scheme. I thought this would mean present yer card and they would charge directly to the insurer. Hi fellas, and any lasses lookin in o'cos, first post so i'll chance my arm with a newbie'ish type question. Hope that this is the right place for it. Any of you knowledgable blokes out there who might know the current minimum visa requirement in order to be able to register a car in Thailand? I am guessing that a month satamp on entry will not cut it. thanks for your help.
