I have read on the stickman site that some where in Pattaya there is a barbeque place, where you can cook your own food. It is one of those places that have all kinds of meats and veggies and you get to cook them at your table,On one of those butane type grills. Does anyone know of such a place, I think it might be a bit out of the way from Pattaya. Thanks in advance. Bignasty

I kind of like to think that they call it the land of smiles because you are allways smilling when you are there . I have made plans to stay at the old Weekender Hotel, it is now a part of the Sabi group. Has anybody stayed there since it was refinished. I know before it was kind of crappy (shitty). I have stayed there before and I was not to happy with it at first but I guess that it (the hotel) kind of grows on you. I am curious to know what they have done to the Hotel. I like to be in the Big C area, and hope that the new Sabi Resort Hotel is much better than the Shitty Weekender Hotel. If any one has stayed there since the redo please give me a holla!!!!!! Bouncer can you tell me more about your lasik operation. Why did they keep you in the hospital for 4 days . Was it painfull what exactly did they do. Please give me as much info as you can about your procedure. Thanks in advance, Bignasty

Has any one had lasik eye surgery done in Bangkok or Pattaya? I was checking the hospital site in Bangkok. I think it was burmgatnen or something. There prices seemed really good and they are a highly respected internationally. Any info would be very helpful. Thanks in advace, Bignasty

I really think that the best way to get to Pattaya is to 1st stay one night in Bangkok. I have done this for all of my trips. I usually get in at about 1159pm and then after 18 plus hours on a plane I do not look foward to another one and one half hour ride to Pattaya. So I simple take a taxi to the Nana Hotel, (a must) and the ride is usually about 20-30 minutes and should cost no more than 300bth. From the hotel you can book a mini van/bus to pattaya that will take you directly to your hotel for 250bth. I find this to be the best way to go. And while you are in Bangkok you can walk out of yo
