  1. RG sure seems like the go but I'm a bit concerned about the "hard beds" and being a bit out of the way. Any other suggestions, keeping in mind the points in my post.
  2. Had a look at the Priceline site but can't find any reference to Pattaye so assume that they have no association with hotels there. Is this correct?
  3. Hi there, Been to Pattaya twice this year and had a few games of well organised golf although maybe a bit expensive. Great courses and loved it so I'm back for more next month. I previously refused offers from a few through this forum as I had booked a package incl. accommodation. Looking to cut costs a bit this time so looking at some options. Would like to play Phoenix and Laem Chabang again and maybe fit in about 3 or 4 games total over 12 days. I'm not a great golfer so not looking for a comp. of any kind but maybe someone can make a few suggestions and keep it clean please. LOL. I'm loo
  4. Thanks F.C. What type of room did you stay in? Which is best value and somewhere near to what I described in my original post.
  5. Plenty of info posted here on this topic (including mine) but a bit hard to find and remember it all. Looking for accom for my next trip to LOS in June and had planned to stop in BKK first but change of plans. Coming for golf (hopefully) and relaxation but looking for somewhere to stay as follows: Clean and with friendly staff. Guest friendly. Good to great pool/s. Big rooms with Queen or bigger beds. Spacious shower and / or bath. Location close to the action preferred but not essential. Most of the reviews are so old that it is almost a waste of time looking there. Don't want to spe
  6. Many previous posts re accommodation, I know but best suggestions appreciated. Prefer as follows Big, soft beds Good pool Guest friendly - no joiner Clean Friendly staff Central Pattaya area or near Good value and not over - priced Also: As I prefer GFE; where to go for good food with good music to dance to (not rap or hip hop as I'm into older 50's, 60's, 70's music). Would maybe like to slow dance with my tilac so maybe piano bar type place would be good. Thanks With hope you have a reason; Without it you have nothing. Don't kill the dream.
  7. Arriving next week for 10 days. Accom. is already tentatively booked but not confirmed. Can anybody advise on the following. Looking for 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom suite reasonably close to the action. Would prefer softish beds, must be guest friendly, friendly staff, nice, clean, pool etc. Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks.
  8. LOLOLOLOLOLOL. Well I'll be fucked. Begs, who the hell are you to pass judgement on so many. By the way, WTF are you doing on this site?? Or are you just some other kind of hypocrite. You country of course has a great history it's men looking after it's women. Actually saw an article on the box the other night about one of your countrymen who likes to eat the flesh of young Aussie girls and he is still wandering the streets. And you have the audacity to question others???? Get a life.
  9. This should probably go in the tech. area but thought more may see it here. Being a little backward when it comes to technical stuff I need some advice. 1. CD's & DVD's bought in Thailand : Will they work as normal in other countries such as Aust. or do you need some sort of adaptor?? 2. Mobile phones: Same as above. Any special requirements. 3. Ditto for competor software or Play station games etc.\ Hope someone can help. Thanks.
  10. Thanks to all. Still thinking about if / when so when the decision is made, I will be in touch. Thanks again doghaus and others..
  11. Anyone know of a reputable company who provide golf package to tourists.
  12. Hey guys, looking for information about Pattaya Hill resort. Surely someone has either been there of knows someone who has. Looking at options. Also golf!! Anybody had recent experience with a package tour and able to recommend someone to me. Even someone living in Pattaya - any info?? Thanks.
  13. Hi there all. Thanks to those who posted replies to my last questions. Now for some more!! Heading to LOS in 5 weeks time and after some more recent information on accommodation which I haven't finalised yet. Can anyone post info. on Siam Bayshore, Siam Bayview and/or Pattaya Hill Resort. Wondering about the usual stuff: guest friendly? comfy beds? friendly staff?value for money? Any replies greatly appreciated.
  14. Hi there, I've been checking out this site for more than a week now and appreciate the info which you guys have supplied in the past so here goes. I'm planning my 1st trip to Pattaya in early March with a mate and would like some advice from an Aussie perspective. 1. I have a Visa Credit card but will incur bloody bank charges every time I use it so what would you suggest the best value way to access cash. Travellers checks, carry cash or just use the ATM's and wear the costs. 2. Many posts suggest travelling light and buy a virtual new wardrobe over there. Are clothes really
