I will be arriving into BKK aprox 12:10 AM on March 5, Saturday morning. Is it best I head straight to Pattaya or secure lodging in BKK. And what is the best mode of transportation to Pattaya that late? I want to avoid smog and heavy traffic jams notrious in BKK as I have read.

I understand the closing time for go-gos is 1am. Does this apply to dance clubs as well? If not, how late do they stay open? Also, can anyone recommend good dance clubs in Pattaya. Thanks a bunch.
