I will be traveling to Pattaya in late July. Is this considered a busy time (peak season) in Pattaya? Is it advisable to make a reservation? Or is a walk-in OK?

I would like to have a quiet room. I don't want to stay near noisy clubs. That being said, I also want to be near the action. Is this an impossible request?

My travel agent has offered me accomodations at Asia Pattaya Hotel or the Siam Bayview Hotel. Does anyone have info on these hotels? Anything would would be greatly appreciated
