I'm due to go out prob with BA in Jan on a direct flight. I'll be in economy but turning up in a smart suit to see about the chances of a free upgade. Maybe take a chance - buy economy and see if you get lucky. Do you know how full China airlines tends to be.

I'm a little scared of flying (ohhhhhhh f*cccckkkkkkkkkkkkk!) Even looking at a pix on flight TG post below put me off :-s Have only been on 7 flights and longhaul to Bangkok in Jan 06 Anyone else suffer - and what are your stratiges ? thanks

I'm going to Thailand for 3 months - Jan 18th to mid April - even though it might be reduced / extended for certain reasons (mainly if I have any money left!) I would prefer a direct flight from the UK (which means BA or Eva) but could settle for 1 stopover. (I also don't like flying - so look at the 'risk' factors for each airline - plus the stopovers increase the risk!) As you can see its important for me to be able to change my return date. As with everyone cost is important - £150 saved is almost 10 girls! BA is currently about £675 but hoping to get a 'sale' price of £50

I will be in Pattaya from Jan to April. One of the things I would like to do while their is attend a spa detox - pref a day spa. Can anyone recommend any good health spa's in Pattaya. The ones where the massage really is just a massage ;-) Many thanks

Many thanks. My idea was to do a bit of English teaching to extend my break out as the only likely opportunity to start with. At the same time look into developing a website (I know people who have web design bizs that will charge me basically cost) promoting Pattaya then starting to generate a small income from advertising revenue whist continuing to develop it. Slowly building it up, the wild idea being of maybe becoming the 'George McCoy' of Pattaya for the UK people that know him.

I'm a qualifierd accountant in the UK (which means little I guess in Thailand :-) coming to Pattaya for a 3 month break Jan-April. Are there any job / income opportunities beyond teaching English and how much could it pay. Just looking to earn a bit of money to extend the visit out as much as possible :-)
