I Deceide to fuck it and sell up and move out to thailand, and try to have a better life.(Money from sale of house should last me a good few years).I should also be abe to get some sort of employment being an open water scuba instrutor. The more I read about what the british government are trying to impose the more it makes me sick. If there is no hope for a 38 year old in the U.k. What hope is there for anybody older? Whats so great about Great Britain?

Once again Thank for all your replys. I have been trying to phone the Thai-consulate in Hull for the last two days but it is constantley engaged, will try again today. The Dive shops wanted 550 USD or 22.000ThB per month for accomadation ,which I have been told is "To much". Also please could anybody give me an idea as to how long 2,000,000ThB would last me in Thailand, I dont drink a lot and hope this amount would last for quite some time if I am carefull.

Many thanks for your replies. I am a bit confussed here. If I apply for a Non-Imm 'O' visa, I have to produce "Evidence Substanting purpose of visit" . How could I provide this when I havent made my mind up as to which dive firm I am training with yet. Thats why I wanted to come over and weigh both firms up and see which one was the best. Hi, will hopefully be arriving Dec/Jan with the intensions of Becoming a Scuba instructor. There are two dive centers in Pattaya which are able to help me do this and both provide full accomadation for 6 months. I been looking on the net and have found that I will be able to get accomadation a LOT cheaper if I just come out there. Thing is these tow dive firm will assist me geting the right visa. If I come out on a 30 visa will I be able to get a lond stay one while I am in thailand or will I have to return back to the U.K. and apply for one? Many thanks.

Hi I am thinking of coming over to Pattaya some time Dec/Jan to do an dive instructors intership, I have a choice of Two outlets Mermaids or Aqunanghts both in Pattaya. Has anybody got any information which would help me pick one. Many thanks.
