  1. Previously I have stayed at the RG and Jomtien Boathouse. Although I enjoyed my stay at both places and rate the RG very highly, for my next trip I fancy staying at the north end of town. I am thinking somewhere close to the soapies and soi 6. My budget is 1500 to 2000b a night and I don't need to include food into that. Places with a balcony, swimming pool, room safe, no guest hassles and not too noisy would tick all of my boxes. Any recommendations will be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Kevin
  2. Could anyone advise me if it is possible to fly from the UK to Bangkok via Sri Lanka. I'm thinking of spending a few days at a test match on the way home from Thailand. Any advice on Sri Lankan nightlife would also be appreciated too! Thanks Don
  3. sindre I stayed at the Boathouse in December and would give it a mark of ten out of ten. The restaurant provides first class food from breakfast to evening meal and I would recommend you try the Captains coffee at least once. The rooms are clean and big enough to relax in. I would ask for a room with a balcony over looking the beach, where you can watch an interesting world pass by.   4. Problem solved. I downloaded the latest version of Internet Explorer from the Microsoft site and everything now works.
  5. Whenever I go to the gallery I get a blank, black page with nowhere to log in to.I am a prize horse's arse when it comes to computers, so even obvious advice would be appreciated.
