I am presently thinking of booking a room in the Sunshine Hotel Soi 8. However, I received word from someone that stayed there before, there was a problem with a smell in the bathrooms. Has anyone else experienced this? Would also like to hear of any pros or cons that are not already listed in the hotel reviews. Thanx

I will be coming to Pattaya on 16 Oct - departing 1 or 2 Nov. I have been attempting to reserve a room via e-mails to the Eastiny Place Hotel. However, I have not been able to get a reply from them. I have sent e-mails to all the Eastiny Place Hotels e-mail addresses listed in the hotel info posts so I know I have to be sending at least some of them it to the correct addresses. It's not that I am not waiting long enough for a reply since I first started this process in early Sep. Has anyone else had this problem? Should I fax them my request or just walk in. This is my first trip to LOS and I was wondering if it is necessary to reconfirm the outbound flight with the airline prior to leaving? I have been to the PI before and it is necessary to reconfirm your flight a few days prior to leaving from there. I have always had the hotels in the PI do this for me and paid a minimal charge. Is it the same in the LOS? BTW I will be traveling Northwest.

I'll be arriving on October 16 at 11:50 pm via Northwest. Planning on getting transport via Thai Limo to Pattaya. Anyone want to share?
