  1. If you are coming from Australia, Philippine airlines has a deal going to Bangkok via Manila. You can stop over as long as you want in Philippines and then get a connecting flight to Bangkok. Check with your travel agent as the fares are pretty good. (somewhere around $900.00 plus taxes).
  2. Ken, thanks for the info, we will only be in cm for 3 nights before heading on to pattaya, but it sounds like the chiang mai hills htl will be our first stop. cheers gazza.
  3. you could also try the apex hotel on 2nd road. the rooms are very clean, you get a safe in your room, fridge, etc for 500 baht per night.

  5. i am coming back to thailand soon and was thinking about going to chiang mai for a couple of days before coming to pattaya. has anyone got any suggestions as to where to stay? also, what is the bar scene like there? any comments would be greatly appreciated.
  6. ??? the bed just does not look big enough??? for what??? it may not be big enough for a game of football, but it looks big enough for what a bed is supposed to be used for!
  7. i have been having the same problem, i keep hoping it is just temporary but it still seems to be the same. if anyone has any ideas on how to fix this, please let us know.
