    The rooms at the Vault are great. I stayes at a normal room at it was spacious and very well maintained. Bathroom is very nice and large. The people working there are great and always helpful if you need extra towels or other things. Only setback is that you have to walk up the stairs if your room is on the top floor, there is no lift. Also no pool. Easy access to Soi Diamond and Walking Street and plenty of Baht buses around. The girls liked it a lot! Book in advance as it is always fully booked. It is excellent value for money!

    The Vault Hotel although it is not Central Pattaya...but it's very nice, free wireless in room and absolutely guestfriendly.

    Hey Sohail what time you are getting there? I land 1930 in BKK and take a taxi down on Friday. I will stay at the Lek hotel so maybe we can meet for a beer. Cheers

    The new airport will be located on the south east of BKK, on the route to Pattaya. Actually, once running, the time to get to Pattaya should be reduced by at least 30 minutes compared to Don Muang. That is the good news for everybody going to Patts. Going into BKK however it will add some driving time as the traffic is usually intense in this part of the city. I think the airport should open sometime around October this year but not sure about this. Cheers

    Hi all, I am arriving in BKK on Friday March 31st at 725PM and taking a taxi to Pattaya. Somebody else at Don Muang at the same time who likes to go to Pattaya? If so, reply here so we can share the cost. Also, if somebody there that weekend March31st to April 2nd please let me know we can meet and have a beer and go around the bars... Cheers Joe
