Windsor Suites in Bangkok

I'll be back in Bangkok at the end of October and I'm planning on trying a different location than my usual haunt around Soi 4. If anyone could shed some light on Windsor Suites on Soi 20 I would really appreciate it, particularly any info regarding how "guest friendly" they are. It seems I can get by far the best rate by pre-paying, but I'd sure hate to be stuck somewhere I didn't like all that well!

i have always wanted to stay there but various boards tend to believe it is GF but with a joiner fee. Would like to know for sure.
